Job summary

Rivermere of Brookfield, a premier senior living community in Brookfield, CT, is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for our facilities team. This full-time role operates 8am–4pm, Tuesday through Saturday, supporting grounds, building systems, and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

The ideal candidate will have basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge, with preventative maintenance preferred, and must communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Assistant maintains the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and our established policies and procedures.
• May be directed by the Director of Building Services.
• Knowledge in Preventative Maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry required. Painting experience a plus.
• English is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures.
