Job summary

Independence TX. LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support construction, commissioning, and maintenance of sand and aggregate processing plants. Plant experience is required, and frac experience is a plus.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in a demanding industrial environment. The role focuses on assembly, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of conveyors, gear boxes, pumps, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial, mechanical, welding, or maintenance experience.
• Sand, aggregate, mining, or similar plant experience is required.
• Frac experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble new sand plants as assigned.
• Read and work from technical specifications, drawings, and equipment requirements.
• Perform mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, electrical work, plumbing, hydraulic repairs, boiler maintenance, and air-system servicing.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the root cause of mechanical and operational issues.
• Safely rig, lift, move, and install heavy equipment.
