Job summary

Century Mold Co. Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the B shift in Middletown, OH. You will visually inspect and test machinery, troubleshoot issues, dismantle and repair components, and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order software, plus ability to learn new software, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss operation variations with supervisors to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and electrical/electronic components.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of all facility equipment and grounds.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Complete other special assignments as required.
• Review work orders to determine immediate actions required.
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance on a timely basis.
• Operate forklift, lift truck, and scissor lift.
