Job summary

Century Mold is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the B shift in Middletown, OH. The role involves inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, and automated equipment on-site.

The incumbent will follow work orders, perform preventative maintenance, operate forklifts and machine tools, and support facility repairs as needed. A two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with exposure to software and plant systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Software knowledge; Work Order software and OINSIGHT.
• Ability to learn new software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of all facility equipment and grounds.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Review work orders to determine immediate actions required.
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance on a timely basis.
• Operate forklift, lift truck, and scissor lift.
