Job summary

Princeton Construction is seeking a Service Technician responsible for general maintenance and repair duties across residential and commercial properties. You will identify repair needs, respond to maintenance requests, and conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality upkeep.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, physical stamina, and solid trade repair knowledge. Safety and quality control are emphasized; this is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' working experience in a similar role.
• Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Extremely organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks including painting and patching and managing maintenance repairs.
• Perform basic repairs on buildings, equipment, or appliances.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Regularly check properties under management to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure or damage.
• Respond to clients' maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair minor plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks at properties we maintain.
