Red Valve is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep plant machinery and tools in working order, assist in installing new equipment, and support startup activities. The role emphasizes troubleshooting and routine maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
The candidate should have 3–5 years’ maintenance experience, read blueprints, perform basic math, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. OSHA knowledge and safety compliance are valued; a high school diploma/GED is required.
A Red Valve Maintenance Tech I will maintain and keep in working condition all plant machinery, machine tools and equipment. You will also assist in installing new machinery and attachments, as well as the setup of present equipment, post relocation. This position requires highly motivated self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The candidate will focus on maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing production. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify methods and approach. Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision. Follows established safety/environmental practices and regulations.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two years related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in machine operation.
