Job summary

National Vision is expanding its optical manufacturing facility and seeking Maintenance Technicians for a full-time, 3-day per week shift with a 4-day break. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and service of lab equipment, with a 10% shift differential and bi-weekly bonus opportunities.

The position requires 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read and write English. Benefits include PTO, 401k, health insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• No specific education required.
• 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists.
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time.
• Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers.
• Identifying issues and performing repairs.
• Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab.
• Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required.

Our optical manufacturing facility is growing! We're excited to offer new openings for Maintenance Technicians.

Schedules: Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off. Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes. Maintenance Tech hours may vary slightly but core shift hours are:

• Shift 2A: Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
• Shift 2B: Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Pay & extras:Competitive base pay (DOE) PLUS 10% shift differential AND extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and numerous benefits.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab.
