Job summary

National Vision is expanding its optical manufacturing facility in Plano. We’re hiring entry-level production lab technicians across Inventory, Finish, Surface and AR departments, with shift 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Entry level starting $15.50/hr plus bi-weekly bonus opportunities.

We also offer a generous PTO plan and many other benefits. As a production tech you will observe data on job orders, sort and organize jobs, and use RF scanning to support manufacturing processes.

Our optical manufacturing facility is growing! We’re excited to offer new openings, including entry level, for production lab techs in various departments at our manufacturing lab.

Shift Hours: Mondays through Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Entry level starting $15.50/hr PLUS additional bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

Job Description

We have production positions available in our Inventory, Finish, Surface and AR (anti-reflective coating) Departments.

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Production techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.

Associates observe data on job orders, sort and organize jobs, utilize RF scanning and perform other department specific tasks.

Qualifications

• No specific education required
• No specific experience required for entry level but prior mass production, machine operation or warehouse experience is preferred
• Prior related or optical experience desirable
• Must be able to read and write English
