Job summary

Aphena Pharma Solutions-Tennessee LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Cookeville, TN to keep production equipment and facilities running smoothly on a Monday–Friday schedule. This full-time role offers hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment setup in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, relevant maintenance training, experience with electrical systems, and PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills required.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
• Installing, relocating, and setting up equipment
• Supporting production by assisting with equipment setup and training operators
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment (ladder logic experience a plus)
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Following safety, quality, and GMP standards
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment

Schedule

12-hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next)

Day Shift Hours 6A-6P Night Shift Hours 6P-6A (Night Shift receives a $1.50/hr shift differential)

Overtime available as needed to support production.
