Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Bloomfield, NM seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain facility operations and safety. You will perform minor repairs to handrails, fixtures, and medical equipment, change filters on HVAC, and assist with stocking supplies.

The role may include stepping in for the Maintenance supervisor when needed, contributing to a clean, safe environment for residents and staff. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence
