Responsibilities

• Ensures Life Safety Code compliance at the facility.
• Coordinates maintenance planning and supervision of preventive and unplanned maintenance across painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical work.
• Oversees external vendors to ensure work meets contracts/work orders and is properly supervised.
• Maintains the facility's Fire Safety program per the 2012 Life Safety Code and Health Care Facilities Code, including drills and training on fire safety and oxygen safety.
• Coordinates OSHA trainings and related safety programs (bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, PPE, ergonomics).
• Develops and implements Emergency Preparedness Plan; conducts drills to test training effectiveness.
