Job summary

Hoffmaster is seeking a Maintenance Tech Level 3 to keep our PLC-controlled equipment running smoothly on daytime shift. You’ll perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnose and repair power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and conduct preventive maintenance for reliability.

With 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a relevant degree, you’ll work independently, prioritize tasks, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a relevant degree/certification.
• Strong PLC programming and robotic programming skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and upgrade power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate and machine parts to improve equipment performance.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment.
• Use precision tools for troubleshooting and measurement.
• Follow all safety protocols including Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO).

Maintenance Tech Level 3 – up to $31.67+/Hour

What You’ll Get:

Pay: $31+/hour (based on experience)

• 11 paid holidays + 112 vacation hours per year (Prorated the first year)

What You’ll Do:

• Performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
