Job summary

Hoffmaster is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the Night Shift in Clintonville, WI. The role supports production with paid training, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will operate and monitor equipment, ensure quality, and maintain safe working processes.

Shift is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Pay ranges from $22.09 to $24.00 per hour, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Training may begin on day shift before transitioning to nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment.
• Load raw materials, rolls, plates, inks, and other production supplies.
• Configure machines to meet product specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs.
• Perform quality inspections and verify labels, UPC codes, and packaging accuracy.
• Make routine machine adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Clear jams and other interruptions using lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete basic equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.

What Is a 2-2-3 Schedule?

Our rotating day shift gives you every other weekend off and only 14 workdays per month.

Week 1: Work Mon–Tues, Off Wed–Thurs, Work Fri–Sat–Sun

Week 2: Off Mon–Tues, Work Wed–Thurs, Off Fri–Sat–Sun

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment
• Load raw materials, rolls, plates, inks, and other production supplies
• Configure machines to meet product specifications and production requirements
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs
• Perform quality inspections and verify labels, UPC codes, and packaging accuracy
• Make routine machine adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards
• Safely clear jams, paper breaks, and other machine interruptions using lockout/tagout procedures
• Complete basic equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks
• Report mechanical issues and equipment concerns to maintenance personnel
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
• Assist with training new team members as needed
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams
• Follow all company safety policies, GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements
