This position is responsible for ensuring production and facility equipment is working at all times. The candidate will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedules along with existing protocols including building maintenance.
Helps to keep equipment operational, conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Maintains inventory of repair parts and supplies. Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
On‑Site: This role is required on‑site 3 days at the Ottawa, KS location.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and/or schematics.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preference given for maintenance experience.
The job requires standing, using hands and fingers, handling, feeling, communicating, and listening regularly. Requires walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally. Must be able to walk on concrete for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and climb ladders and operate forklifts. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; noise level is usually very loud.
Training shall be in accordance with Mac Fastener Training Matrix.
The expected pay range is $22.80 to $27.20 per hour, plus potential incentives such as equity, commissions or other variable performance‑related bonuses. Additional details provided by recruiting team during interview.
