Job summary

Hoffmaster is seeking a Maintenance Tech Level 3 for the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 2-2-3 schedule) to keep our equipment running at peak performance. You will apply mechanical and electrical expertise on PLC-controlled systems and work within a team that values reliability and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR a relevant degree/certification.
• Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on PLC-controlled systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and upgrade power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate and machine parts to improve equipment performance.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment.
• Use precision measurement and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO).

What You’ll Do:

Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern:

• Week 1: Work Mon-Tue, off Wed-Thu, work Fri-Sun
• Week 2: Off Mon-Tue, work Wed-Thu, off Fri-Sun
