Job summary

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of carpentry methods.
• Some skill with tools to cut and join wood.
• Knowledge of locksmith trade principles.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks such as building and repairing frameworks, scaffolds, and wooden articles.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in locks and hardware.
• Maintain master keys for the school system and cut blanks to duplicate keys.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, drill, join and assemble materials.
