Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, water-based systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to diagnose and repair multi-disciplinary systems.
• Proficient with tools, diagnostic instruments, and electrical meters.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Certified scuba diver or willingness to become certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wave-generating systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, control system malfunctions, and hydraulics.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and read schematics/ PLC logic.
• Calibrate sensors and wave control systems for optimal performance.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and system overhauls.
• Support commissioning and upgrades of basin technology.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and restore operations safely.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I staff.
• Log performance data in CMMS and analyze trends.
• Follow safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
