Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Maintenance Tech II - Transportation in Bellingham, MA to support fleet operations. You will perform repair and maintenance duties for transit buses and vehicles, document hours and materials, and assist senior technicians in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of transit or automotive repair experience, familiarity with Ford E-Series and Ford Transit vehicles, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years transit bus or automotive repair experience.
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class II Mechanic.
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience.
• ASE certification is preferred.
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and familiarity with Ford E-Series transit buses and Ford Transit vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports unsafe practices to supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or vehicle abuse.
