Job summary

American Excelsior Company in Sheboygan, WI seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support facility systems. You will complete work orders, assist with installations, and follow preventive maintenance schedules to ensure smooth production operations.

The role requires 3-4 years of electrical/mechanical experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and safe work practices in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read work instructions, follow procedures, and document completed work.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in the maintenance system.
• Assist with equipment moves, installations, and upgrades to support production needs.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and help develop/update related work instructions.
• Support equipment improvement projects.
