Job summary

CandyCo is seeking a Maintenance Tech Level II to perform scheduled PMs, on-demand repairs, and complex maintenance on the production floor, ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety audits.

You will support reading manuals, diagnosing controls, replacing pumps and bearings, and mentoring Level I technicians while maintaining CMMS data and inventory control. Flex shifts, overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and technical instructions in English.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, machining, or welding.
• Diagnostics on controls, measuring tools, and machine diagnostics.
• Replacement parts ordering and inventory maintenance.
• Food Industry experience is preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular maintenance service/duties (PMs) as scheduled.
• Maintain assets and facility infrastructure, lubrication, monitoring, filter inspections.
• Provide technical support, training, and development guidance.
• Submit accurate shift reports detailing work performed.
• Follow food safety guidelines and GMPs during servicing.
• Model safety culture and ensure 100% safety compliance.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
