Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech II to join our team. You will inspect, repair, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment in a dynamic facilities environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional night/weekend overtime.

On-the-job training is provided, and you will follow blueprints, PLCs, and control systems while ensuring safety and quality. This role offers opportunities for hands-on growth within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems using observation and precision instruments.
• Assist maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Perform boiler chemical and wastewater testing and log results.
