Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the safe and reliable operation of our gas transmission facilities.

This hands-on field role performs inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical mechanical systems, with focus on air, fuel, cooling, and prime mover equipment. You will follow SOPs and regulatory requirements, document activities, and collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors to uphold asset reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years of directly related training and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of safe work practices and a commitment to following safety policies and programs.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Proficiency with standard computer and office software applications.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain driving privileges.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and compliance activities on station equipment and mechanical systems.
Maintain and support air systems, air dryer systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, gas compression equipment, and prime movers.
Recognize, respond to, and report abnormal operating conditions to help ensure safe and reliable operations.
Complete required documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and all applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to support operational goals and asset reliability.
Assist with additional operational tasks, which may include equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, electrical controls, and other maintenance-related activities based on business needs.
