Job summary

The Boardwalk Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Certified Pool Operator to keep guest areas safe and functional. You will perform repairs, manage pool systems, and respond to guest-issue calls to maintain high hospitality standards.

You must have a CPO license and a valid driver's license, plus at least two years in hotels or apartments. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance repairs (plumbing, painting, lighting, electrical)
• Ability to respond to guest issue reports promptly
• Ability to operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs in guest rooms (plumbing, drains, hardware, electrical equipment)
• Respond to front desk reports of guest issues or concerns promptly
• Maintain pool water quality per state standards and perform pool maintenance (cleaning, vacuuming, back washing)
• Operate and troubleshoot pool motors, pool heaters, and related equipment
• Maintain a logbook per DHEC standards

The Boardwalk Beach Resort is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech/Certified Pool Operator. Must have 2+ years experience. Knowledgeable with pool motors, pool heaters, and electrical.

Job Description:

• Must have 2 years experience in Hotels/Apartments Hospitality
• Performs maintenance repairs such as, plumbing, painting, lighting fixtures and electrical needs.
• Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest issues or concerns.
• Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems
• Perform maintenance activities in the guest rooms such as plunging, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, AC and/or AC ducts
• Must have knowledge in pools, maintaining pool water quality according to and above state standards, cleaning, vacuuming, back washing.
• Maintain a logbook in accordance to DHEC standards
