Job summary

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas is seeking an Engineering Tech II to handle general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas. The role includes preventive maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and safety.

The position requires flexible scheduling—including evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays—and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
• Must be a team player but able to work independently as well.
• Able to multitask and prioritize assignments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms and public areas.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment as needed.
