Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Delavan, WI area. You will install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, using preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and training junior technicians.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3+ years of related experience, knowledge of electrical/plumbing/carpentry, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Shift is 1st, 7:00am–3:30pm, with an hourly range of $27–$30 and a hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of additional technical training or job-related experience.
• Injection Molding experience preferred.
• Blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation understanding for maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Fully competent in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Strong communication, math, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machines (CNC, Injection Molding, and test stands) to minimize downtime.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems; identify proactive maintenance needs.
• Perform intermediate repairs including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and source necessary components.
• Participate in LEAN activities (Kaizens, RCCM, 5-why, A3) to reduce downtime and costs.
• Assist in training Junior Technicians.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Assist in setup/dismantling equipment for events or special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
