Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Delavan, WI site. You will install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, using preventive maintenance to minimize production interruptions.

You will train junior technicians and support LEAN initiatives while ensuring safety compliance. The role offers 1st or 2nd shift options, with an hourly pay range and a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ years of additional technical training or job-related experience.
• Injection Molding experience preferred.
• A solid understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation necessary for the maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Full competency in performing preventive maintenance (PMs), troubleshooting failures, and implementing effective repairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math and computer proficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, enabling effective diagnosis and resolution of issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on production machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
• Perform intermediate-level repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Independently troubleshoot and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Address issues related to basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain and document spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Identify and source necessary components and supplies.
• Assist with training and development of Junior Techs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
