Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service state-of-the-art eyewear fabrication equipment. You willPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on electromechanical systems, from simple devices to multi-axis CNC machinery, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires reading electrical/mechanical drawings, electronics knowledge, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Working knowledge in electronics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard all hazards in the facility and follow OSHA requirements.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance per CMMS schedule.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and pressured air systems.
• Calibrate and repair equipment per CMMS work requests; address component-level issues.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians (Tech I).
• Provide feedback to improve Predictive Maintenance.
• Participate in workshops aligned with Focus Five initiatives.
• Use Lock-Out / Tag-Out to ensure a safe environment.
