Job summary
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Mesquite, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment, following standard procedures and safety rules.
You will log maintenance details, support equipment reliability, and contribute to process documentation. Teamwork, problem-solving and adherence to TPM principles are essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree with 1–2 years' experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Associate's Degree preferred in Maintenance or related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork and technical expertise required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to increase availability and yield.
- Document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures in the system.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems following SOPs and safety rules.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
