Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for an on-site role in Mesquite, TX. The technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, evaluate improvements for availability and yield, and document maintenance procedures through technical reports.

Ideal candidates will have vocational/technical training and 1–2 years of experience (or equivalent), with the possibility of working under close supervision

Job Summary

This role is on-site in Mesquite, TX. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures

Required Qualifications

• Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
• Discipline/Major: Maintenance or related discipline preferred

• This position is Safety-Sensitive.
