Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and routine maintenance in our service center. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, ensuring equipment operates at shift start and reporting any damages.

You will operate lift trucks and maintenance tools, follow Lock Out/Tag Out and safety procedures, and assist senior technicians as needed. A high school diploma or GED and hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience with Material Handling Equipment or 4 years maintenance in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; general building maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair basic electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and diagnose malfunctions in equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is operational at start of shift and report damages promptly.
• Operate lift trucks and maintenance equipment, perform daily preventive maintenance inspections.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out and OSHA safety procedures; use PPE as required.
• Support junior technicians with facility/grounds maintenance and assist senior techs with complex repairs.
