Job summary

Hendrickson/Reyco Granning is seeking an experienced electrician to maintain electrical distribution for internal and external equipment. You will perform installs, demolitions and moves, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, weld, fabricate fixtures, and follow safety procedures.

Strong reading of blueprints and team collaboration are essential. Qualifications include five+ years in mechanical/electrical/PLC fields, ability to read blueprints, and a high school

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as required.
• Use preventive maintenance programs and maintenance software.
• Train production operators for basic periodic maintenance.
• Identify areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
• Uses 'stop the line authority' at any sign of safety or quality concerns.

Job Summary:

Job Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining electrical distribution for all internal and external equipment. Performs equipment installs, demolitions and moves as needed. Troubleshoot and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Must have working knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical standards. Ability to weld and fabricate simple fixtures and jigs. Perform other related tasks as directed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair various machines and equipment
• Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with city codes and industrial standards
• Run secondary power distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage and phase requirements to distribution panels, power and control circuits, HVAC, robots and other equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as required.
• Use preventative maintenance programs on work centers and equipment using maintenance software.
• Train production operators to perform basic periodic maintenance where applicable.
• Identify areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
• Uses "stop the line authority" at any sign of safety or quality concerns.

Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree, journeyman electrician license or technical school degree required
• PLC certification desired

Experience Requirements

• Five (5) plus years of mechanical, electrical, and PLC experience
• Experience with metal burning and forming equipment
• Experience in a manufacturing setting involving welding, fabricating, and assembly
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NFPA and NEC

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures
