Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our recycling and box conversion machinery running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot 3-phase power, operate PLCs, and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems to meet production goals.

This role requires hands-on multi-craft abilities, ability to read schematics, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer comprehensive benefits and a plan for career growth at Pratt's Emmaus facility.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot 3‑phase power and electrical systems.
• Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, and mechanical drives.
• Read and interpret schematics and basic motor controls.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant machinery used to turn recycled paper into boxes.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and meets production targets.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment as needed.

8 Hour Schedule: 6am-2pm

Our Maintenance Technicians maintain and repair the machinery involved in turning recycled paper into the 2-D version of a corrugated box and getting them to our customers! Think boxes for Domino’s pizzas, moving with Home Depot, Amazon deliveries, Hello Fresh meals, and more! (And yes, we make those!)

What experience and skills are required?

• Troubleshooting of 3-Phase power/electricity
• AC/DC Motors and Motor Starters
