Job summary

Rite-Hite in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems. You will work independently and with the team to ensure safety, efficiency, and uptime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, following preventive maintenance schedules, maintaining CMMS records, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years hands-on maintenance, equipment repair, or facilities experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS for tracking work orders and maintenance logs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and failures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues promptly to reduce disruptions.
• Inspect systems and machinery for wear and potential failures.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring safety compliance.
