Job summary

Pratt Industries seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep the production line running by maintaining and repairing machinery that converts recycled paper into cartons. You will troubleshoot 3-Phase power, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates will perform welding, fabrication, conduit bending, and basic machining while upholding industrial safety standards. This role offers a stable daytime schedule and growth opportunities at our Allentown facility.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting of 3-Phase power/electricity.
• AC/DC Motors and Motor Starters.
• Gearboxes/Gear Reducers.
• Basic working knowledge of PLCs and VFDs.
• Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment used to convert recycled paper into cartons.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and rapid response to breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, motors, and drives.
• Support welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed.
