Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at our Saginaw, MI plant. This full-time, first shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) role focuses on maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and facilities. Candidates should have 3-5 years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience, be mechanically inclined, and able to read blueprints.

Safety and reliability are essential in this position. The role requires the ability to work overtime, multi-task, and collaborate with vendors and teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, lifting and operating machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
• Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
