Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents and staff. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, while addressing mechanical and electrical issues and completing preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple work orders.
• Team-oriented with a positive, flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across our community, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and avoid downtime
• Respond to work orders promptly and ensure tasks are completed with quality and care
• Support campus operations by maintaining lighting, equipment, and general facility upkeep
• Partner with fellow technicians and departments to complete projects and keep everything running smoothly
• Interact with residents and team members in a friendly, respectful, and helpful way

What You’ll Do

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across our community, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and equipment

Must Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair)
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical and electrical systems
• Organized and able to manage multiple work orders efficiently
• Team-oriented with a positive, flexible attitude
• High school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience/training

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with A/C, heating, and refrigeration systems (5+ years preferred)
• Technical or trade school training
• Experience in a senior living, hospitality, or residential setting

Compensation & Benefits
