Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform HVAC repairs, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation and groundskeeping across its communities.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to meet high quality maintenance standards and ensure a safe, clean property. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of direct technical maintenance experience, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of direct technical work experience (irrigation, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC) required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate regularly with maintenance workers, management and staff on maintenance projects.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
• Report maintenance concerns to management and perform repairs; mow, weed, edge and maintain common areas and vacant lot grounds.
• Conduct irrigation systems repairs.
• Move heavy objects and you may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
