Compass Group USA, operating as Canteen, is hiring for a full-time Mechanic I in Montgomery, AL. Location: Canteen - 3013 Hayneville Road, Montgomery, AL 36108. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Prior electrical and mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains equipment including HVAC systems, high-pressure boilers, generators and steam equipment.
• Reads and records information from meters and gauges at intervals to verify operating conditions.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Inspects and replaces worn or defective parts; tests machine operation after repair.
• Maintains inventory of parts and equipment; orders parts as needed.
