APHENA PHARMA SOLUTIONS-TENNESSEE LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Cookeville, TN to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role includes preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and supporting production with setup and training.

The position operates on a 12‑hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule with overtime as needed to support production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
• Experience with single- and three-phase electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Install, relocate, and set up equipment.
• Support production with equipment setup and operator training.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment; ladder logic knowledge is a plus.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow safety, quality, and GMP standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
• Installing, relocating, and setting up equipment
• Supporting production by assisting with equipment setup and training operators
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Working with PLC‑controlled equipment (experience with PLCs and ladder logic is a plus)
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Following all safety, quality, and GMP standards
• Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
