Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Temple, TX to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. The role operates on a 8pm-8am 2-2-3 shift with a pay range of $27.84-$31.00 per hour, plus eligibility for wage increases.

Safety-aligned, hands-on maintenance and strong teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment, repairing motors, conveyors, pumps, and performing lock-out/tag-out.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of mechanical devices and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and repair/replace components.
• Experience with electrical repairs including 480V 3-phase systems is preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and technical data.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work following established safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Communicate problems during shifts and report carry-over items at Tier 1 meetings.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, man-lifts, and elevated work platforms.
• Contribute to operation success by performing related duties as assigned.
