Job summary

Heliene is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 in Mountain Iron, MN, to support large production machinery with preventive and breakdown maintenance. You will determine repair needs, work under the Maintenance Team Lead, and help ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting pneumatic/electrical systems, cleaning and reassembling parts, and recording maintenance activities. A vocational degree with related coursework and OSHA/EPA knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

Vocational or community college degree with related coursework in electrical or mechanical fields.
Prefer 3 years' experience or equivalent education and training.
Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations applicable to plant operations.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement preventive maintenance for production machinery and equipment as directed.
Identify and analyze equipment failures and take corrective actions.
Ensure facilities equipment is properly maintained and functional.
Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrically controlled systems.
Prepare reports documenting work performed and parts used.
Support development of internal SOPs and manuals.
