Job summary

Helion is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician in Palmyra, PA to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-volume production environment. The role requires hands-on ability, plus willingness to learn corrugated-specific equipment and processes.

You will work with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and follow safe work practices while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a production setting.
• Ability to wire a 3-phase motor and diagnose electrical issues with a meter.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-volume production environment
• Wire and troubleshoot 3-phase motors and use a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and other mechanical components
• Diagnose equipment issues and respond to production breakdowns
• Follow safe work practices and keep a clean, organized work area
• Learn corrugated-specific equipment and maintenance practices
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
