TreeHouse Foods in Ogden, UT is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment in a three-shift manufacturing operation to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years' experience as a maintenance mechanic in manufacturing, with strong communication skills; experience with food manufacturing is a plus; shift is 5pm–5am; pay starts at $37.34/hr.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and failures on the plant floor in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Operate tools and machinery such as cut-off saws, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses for fabrication and machining of parts.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, electronics, air, and water system maintenance tasks.
• Grease and lubricate bearings, gearboxes, and rollers throughout the plant.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, food defense, food quality standards, and perform other assigned duties.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues in a three-shift manufacturing operation to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency. You will add value by performing the following duties including but not limited to:

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and failures on the plant floor in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Operate tools and machinery such as cut-off saws, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses for fabrication and machining of parts
• Perform electrical, plumbing, electronics, air, and water system maintenance tasks
• Grease and lubricate bearings, gearboxes, and rollers throughout the plant
• Conduct regular checks on gearbox seals and assist with preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain compliance with food safety, food defense, food quality standards, and perform other assigned duties

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on C or D shift, which operate on a rotating schedule 5pm to 5am, Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Pay:

Starting at $37.34/Hr.
