Job summary

MOLARI Employment & HealthCare Services in North Adams, MA is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician I to join their property maintenance team. This Temp-to-Hire role focuses on hands-on tasks in a residential community, with pay $20.00-$23.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing vacant apartments, performing general repairs, light plumbing/electrical work, appliance service, seasonal grounds care, and on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance, facilities or property maintenance experience required.
• Able to perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting and appliance repairs.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Reliable transportation and good communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Maintenance Technician I - North Adams, MA

Position: Maintenance Technician I | Type: Temp-to-Hire | Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician I to join their property maintenance team. This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of hands-on work in a residential community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Complete general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and caulking repairs
• Assist with appliance installation and repairs
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and grounds
• Complete trash removal, pressure washing, and seasonal snow removal
• Inspect vacant units and complete punch-list items to ensure move-in readiness
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with special projects
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or property maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and bending
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. On-call responsibilities required.
