Job summary

Orizon Aerostructures in Oklahoma is seeking a Level 1 Maintenance Technician responsible for basic electrical and mechanical upkeep of production equipment. You will follow the preventive maintenance schedule and support emergency repairs to keep machines running smoothly.

Strong reading skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability are essential. Overtime, including weekends, may be required in this fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly.
• Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.
• Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.
• Must pay attention to detail.

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule.
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
• Review daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production.
• Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all areas.
• Handle company equipment with care.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up as needed.
• Be available to work overtime when required, including weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager.
