Job summary

Aphena Pharma Solutions in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, 12-hour rotating schedule. The role covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and collaboration with production and engineering to minimize downtime.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus relevant technical training or an apprenticeship. PLC experience is a plus, with comprehensive safety and GMP adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment.
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Installing, relocating, and setting up equipment.
• Supporting production by assisting with equipment setup and training operators.
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment (PLC/Ladder logic is a plus).
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Following all safety, quality, and GMP standards.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
• Installing, relocating, and setting up equipment
• Supporting production by assisting with equipment setup and training operators
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Schedule

12-hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next)

Day Shift Hours 6A-6P Night Shift Hours 6P-6A (Night Shift receives a $1.50/hr shift differential)

Overtime available as needed to support production.
