Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems across our packaging operations. You will diagnose, repair and service forklifts, scissor lifts and aerial equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hydraulic and diesel engines, diagnostic tools, and OSHA-compliant practices for powered industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing hydraulic systems and repairing fluid flow, pressure issues, seals, and valves.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including circuits, battery systems, controllers, and sensors.
• Mechanical aptitude with engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering components.
• Experience with diesel engines in forklifts.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and reading wiring schematics/service manuals.
• Experience with LP forklifts and diesel forklifts.
• Experience with scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules for powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.
