Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA seeks a Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems across the campus, ensuring safe operation of complex equipment.
You will work with BAS controls and focus on preventive maintenance, performs diagnostics, and ensures timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain patient comfort.
EPA Universal Certification is required; a valid Georgia driver's license is preferred.
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary
equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.
Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.
For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare
HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
EPA Universal Certification
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Georgia drivers license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500
criteria preferred.
