Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA seeks a Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems across the campus, ensuring safe operation of complex equipment.

You will work with BAS controls and focus on preventive maintenance, performs diagnostics, and ensures timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain patient comfort.

EPA Universal Certification is required; a valid Georgia driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of Maintenance Tech experience including HVAC.
• Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.
• For systems with BAS controls, one year of commercial/healthcare HVAC/BAS experience or BAS program graduation.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems to ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment.
• Operate BAS controls and associated equipment (pumps, fans, etc.).
• Support water treatment, chiller operations, air handler units, and related components.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary
equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAVs, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.
Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.
For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcare
HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
EPA Universal Certification
