Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration systems critical to patient safety and comfort. You will work with complex equipment including BAS controls, chiller operations, pumps, air handlers, walk-ins, and boilers, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with health care standards.
A valid Georgia driver’s license and EPA Universal Certification are required, with program adherence to Piedmont's Vehicle
JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliaryequipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV’s, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school diploma or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Three (3) years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience.Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program.For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include one (1) year of commercial/healthcareHVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:EPA – Universal Certification
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Georgia driver’s license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500criteria preferred.
