The North Penn YMCA is seeking a part time Maintenance Technician/Housekeeper for our Harleysville Early Childhood Center.

Salary

$13-17 per hour

Hours weekly

5-10 (flexible between early morning, evenings, and weekends, when children are not in the building)

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED, plus six months or more of related experience
• Effective Communication; written and oral
• Must have strong collaborative work ethic
• Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles

Responsibilities

• Perform interior building and exterior grounds maintenance as required
• Maintain facilities and equipment in safe working order; report all issues to director
• Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, restrooms and other areas of the building
• Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and other surfaces
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the North Penn YMCA Harleysville Early Childhood Center
• Ability to perform the following physical activities adequately: standing, sitting, squatting, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching or crawling
• Ability to function under inside environmental conditions
• Ability to lift or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Ability to perform the following sensory and communicative activities adequately: hearing and seeing; reading, writing, speaking English fluently.
